How imagination can turn ten quiet minutes into a

refreshing mini-adventure.

Lately, I've been craving travel.

Not just from my house to the supermarket or from one end of town to another. I want to really travel.

But how does one do that in just a little more than ten minutes?

That's when my imagination comes alive...and suddenly, ten minutes is enough. It's economical and, more importantly, nourishing.

The weather has turned colder, and we've had some snowfall over the past few days. The snow turns the sidewalks white and blankets the brown, dark trails. It's like a cleaning crew sweeping through and making everything look fresh and new again.

If you had ten minutes right now, where would your imagination take you?
If you had ten minutes right now, where would your imagination take you?

In my mind, I could walk on that snow and hear it crunch beneath my boots.

I could cross-country ski and glide along the trails.

Or I could snowshoe and leave a trail of prints behind me.

All of it is possible in my imagination.

I picture myself doing these lovely winter activities in the Canadian Rockies after a large snowfall. The perfect day would be bundling up and spending hours outside enjoying the winter air.

And then, heading indoors for a satisfying, hearty meal—perhaps soup and bread with a mug of hot chocolate.

After a day outdoors, the fresh air would build a wonderful appetite that makes the food taste even better.

And just like that, in about ten minutes, I've bundled up, spent a whole day doing three winter activities, and finished it off with a satisfying meal.

All without leaving my chair.

What a wonderful way to travel while nourishing creativity!

A Question for You

If you had ten minutes to travel using only your imagination, where would you go?

I'd love to hear your destination in the comments.
